[Removed] Ozone Method 3,4,5,6.5 and bar

[15-october-2016] Kites are no longer for sale, After finding a new job, i have decided to keep them and enjoy. thanks for looking.

Hi Guys,

For Sale Ozone Method set.

We have a trip to England to fund and reluctantly i need to sell some of my kites.

For your flying pleasure i have for sale my recently acquired set of ozone methods. i still have kites of similar sizes but i love these as they are a set.

I bought these from john.holgate late last year in immaculate condition, with no tears rips or scuffs. I have flown them a handful of times. and they are still in pristine condition.

There is a 3m, 4m, 5m and a 6.5m with turbo bar and lines. I only have the bags for the 4,5 and 6.5.

I am asking for $AUD1000 i will cover postage within Australia. if someone overseas would like to pick them up then we can arrange insured shipping.

Please tell me if i am dreaming in regards to the price, but i think it is a fair price for some really nice kites.

I also have a peter lynn comp xr+ that would possibly go in if there is interest, but we would talk price on the complete package. shipping to the US may exclude that one though,.

I would like to see this lot sell as a complete package. unfortunately i am not looking to split them. If they don't sell, i will keep hold of them and fund the trip other ways.

Thanks for looking.

Doug.

Pretty colours..

Ozone Method 3 meter (Yellow, Red, Black)

Ozone Method 4 meter (Green, White, Black)

Ozone Method 5 meter (Red, White, Black)

Ozone Method 6.5 meter (Blue, Yellow, Black) ... this one is my favourite

3 Ozone Backpacks

Ozone Turbo Bar and lines, Great Condition

Anyone looking for a great set of kites to cover a wide wind range wouldn't go wrong with this set.
I do realise i have had limited posts here on this forum, some guys here will know me from extremekites australia.
My Profile there is http://www.extremekites.com.au/profile/3328-igeighty/ please feel free to message some of the guys over there and see if i am to be trusted :)
hopefully they say yes :) shipping to the states won't be a problem, and if someone over your side of the world would like these kites we can talk about how to get them there and i will split postage or even cover it.

Thanks again for looking. i am hoping someone will want to rehome these beauties.

regards,
Doug

I think the price is very fair. That's like $20 usd

Seriously, usd $750 to save those interested the trouble of looking it up

Someone should snatch this up.

Cheers Sean,

Given the rate the Aussie dollar is falling it won't be long till that is true :)

At the moment it works out at about $750 USD i did have the money for the trip tucked away, but a Flysurfer Sonic FR 9m came up recently at a price that was too good to pass up :)

Thanks for the tip though i wasn't sure how much to ask, Hopefully someone will get a great deal of fun out of these.
In my buggy the 6.5m has a bottom end of about 8 knots, while i have been fully lit on the 3m in 30 knots :) pretty sure someone with HOOJ ones would fly it in higher winds. generally when its that strong though i swap to a 2.6 viper or 2 meter Brooza.

The methods are very well behaved kites, i personally fell they are great for beginners through to semi advanced. i flew them on handles and was really pleased on their flight characteristics. very responsive and pretty quick without a huge amount of side pull. I generally flew them on a beach with almost perfect winds, but a trip to the clay pan with gusty strong winds they behaved really good also.

regards.
Doug

Yes just the one set of lines on an ozone turbo bar.

These kites fly very well on the bar. I personally used handles however as it was what i was comfortable with.
When john holgate owned these kites he used the turbo bar exclusively. (and made it look effortless)

It depends on what organ you are selling 3shot :) some are more useful than others.

here is a shot of the 4 meter, at kingston clay pan in South Australia. It is an annual event here in Australia. happening january each year for a few weeks.
