pro foil kites.
I just got a profoil 1.0m and it is a pretty big kite for 1m, does anyone have a larger profoil and can they comment on the performance? I was
thinking of getting a 3.5 m for winds where my 4m samurai is not enough because these guys seem alot larger than I would expect for the size rating.
or maybe I should get a 4.5 or 5.5 what do you all think,

What sort of winds do you have ? If you are looking to top the Sami 4 for low wind and you like your 4 I'ld say go for a Sami 7 ! It's not the
ultimate low wind beast but Will pull you in 7 kts.

Actually one could argue that they are smaller for their size rating. Ted seems to size his by span times max. chord as opposed to average chord, as
many others do. Not a criticizm, just observation. Size for size his kites do as wel iff not better than many others of the same size rating.
The 3.5 is a great kite for the middle of the wind range, I think. I'd fly the 5.5 in 6-9 kts, the 4.5 in 8-11 kts and the 3.5 in 12-16 kts. You could
put them in higher winds but I am not an aggressive flyer and was lucky to have the choice of size. I like to cruise comfortably in the bug and watch
the world go by.
Haven't flown it against a Sami.

you are right, I looked and this kite is not that big, its been a while since I folded my other kites out on the grass. I was thinking of getting a
5.5 profoil instead of a 5.5 ozone razor to save some coin. what do you think, I flew the 1m the other day and it is pretty stable for a tiny little
kite, good turning when I want it to.
