Cubs

I've been a cubs fan for at least 3 weeks. Glad to see them win.

Yup, we've been pulling for the Cubbies too. Stayed up way to late to watch the amazing Game 7. Nice for them. Would have been great for the Indians too. Nice to see some of the old blood swinging back through the ultimate series. I imagine there is much rejoicing in Chicagoland.

The Cubs is Chicago's Major League Baseball team,... I don't follow any sports teams, but as I understand it, they won the World Series.

Go Cubbies!, my Dad was always a big Cubs fan.

I'm going to take a nap now

This raises a problem

So now that the cubs drought is over, who do we make fun of? Or more importantly, who do we use as a reference to make fun of other things in comparison to? Anybody know of any major sport team somewhere in the world that hasn't won their respective championship for over a century?
