Another great trip down to Sandy Point recently with a good turn out of the regular 'XS-P-A-M-L-I-N-K- crew and a new face or two. Winds were pretty
light the first couple days turning a little gusty and offshore for the rest. The vid is mainly the second day at Waratah Bay in 7-10 knots or so...
Great as always! How did you get around copywriting issues on the song?
Bobby, I can't speak for everyone but I've used copywrited music on YouTube many times and have never been flagged. Call me lucky I guess. They
don't seem to police it like Vimeo does. Vimeo flags your music the minute you try to upload a video. Must be the software they use.

Different publishers have different arrangements with youtube. In this case, WMG puts ads on the vid and takes the revenue. Other publishers will
restrict certain countries and other publishers just won't let you use their music.
I strongly disagree with all this - youtube is great advertising for music. I've bought lots of stuff from itunes after hearing it on youtube clips
but I do think you must always credit the music if it's not your own. Commercial usage is different and I guess that there's money being made by
someone on nearly all youtube clips which is probably the publisher's argument too.
I used to really enjoy Vimeo for the fact they didn't stomp on you if you used someone else's music. When they started doing that, I stopped using
them.
