That's a great one- just picked up a trials bike for Carter and found one for myself as well- I sold my last one 20 years ago- should be fun trying to get up on the picnic table again- used to be able to do it from a standstill up on to rear wheel- not so sure I could do it today, but I can still get on the bench pretty easily

Ted- my motto is if the bone aint showing- it aint broke:D. In all seriousness trials riding (the kind I will be doing) is much less dangers then the mtn biking or kiting or whitewater risks we take (something about that statement just does not sound right:). Worst is you tend to loose the skin on your shins when the pedal smacks it:mad:
I will promise some videos of our meager skills soon both bikes are expected to arrive next week- ones coming from Idaho and the other from the UK both shipped today lets see which makes it first

Well shipping makes no sense to me- 1st bike shipped from Idaho last Thursday and will be here in VA Monday after thanksgiving. Second bike (mine) was shipped form the UK on Friday and will be delivered this afternoon- Kinda of impressive that it can make it across the pond and to my rural door in 2 business days! hopefully some entertaining videos coming soon for your comedic enjoyment- Happy thanksgiving to all

Man, you got the kite blues bad.
Something sure to give soon at the beach.

It gives me peace that nothing I have ever done even approaches the
least wacko of these examples of what people do for fun.

another ski video

Yup.. time off and another crappy weather day so...

This is a POV ski descent of Maine's Mt Katahdin- Chimney Couloir. Supposedly a 1st descent on snowboard.

Legally to do it(or anything in the park) you need a permit that you must apply for many month's ahead of time.. gear to be checked by a ranger.... plus minimum number to a group..etc..... A planning nightmare, vs. free to just go.

Katahdin was on my dream list but the planning and distance made sticking to Mt Washington much easier for me. In fact half my many dozens of trips to Mt Washington have been solo. Easy planning.

Like any extreme ski descent, you don't want to fall here.
