Last summer I flew a 2005 against a new eliptical power kite in a buggy race across El Mirage. My friend and I rode wheel to wheel across the lake and
back again finishing even. I guess that is a statement about the Q2000.
I also like the fact that you can rely on the kite to remain steady when you do tricks that involve letting of the controls. Eliptical kites will make
a sudden dive to the deck.
Personally I fly the Competition X or KiteSurfer X-foils, but even after 14 years of traction flying, I still enjoy the Q from time to time.
