10m Flysurfer Psycho 3
Got to fly the 10m P3 for the first time today.
Winds were 15 - 17 mph and gusty.
Setup is fast and no pre-inflation is necessary.
First thing I noticed was the fast turning (way faster than my old 9.5 Montana).
Jumps are quick and high. The depower (1:8) was very impressive. I'm guessing I can use this up to the upper 20s with no problem.
Can't wait to get more time in with it.
Nice quality bag (could hold two kites):
Packs up small:
Informative manual and a few stickers:
I'll post some outdoor pics later.

Yup,
Flysurfer is quality right down to the bag. I can pack my 3,4.5 and 7 in with my Phsyco. I like how the Zipper is protected so you don't eat the
kite with it. Let us know how you do!

Wow...flysurfer not only offers you a kite, kite bag, and everything else you need to fly. But they also top it all off with a nice cold Corona Hope they don't market that kite to minors Would be a nice gimmick to get people to buy kites though..hahaha.

Dom - it shows where an assistant could catch it when you fly the kite to the edge of the window to land.

I got to fly it today after work in 25 - 30 (gusty) mph winds. The depowerabilty and stability of this kite is phenomenal!
I only flew it static. I better take back the comment that "flying depowerables static is boring". It was very "Blade" like fun.
I used two small sandbags to hold down the kite when launching. They were also very helpful when it was time to pack up.
I was a little nervous when I saw the bag blow away when I was getting ready to launch the kite. However, when fully depowered, I didn't even scud
after the launch (side of window). I weigh 160 pounds. Flysurfer states that the normal powered range is approximately from 11.5 to 35 mph.
All in all - the kite performed very well. Can't wait to get a real test on the water.

DaVinch has turned into the flysurfer pimp :D You have me riding a fine line of wanting to try one of these in the worse way. I can't begin to tell
you how much on edge I am about just saying, okay ...I'll buy one just to test it out for myself. Just can't get over the pricing though.
Tridude... I haven't yet demo'ed the Montana 2 yet. Am suppose to be getting a 5m this weekend and then I've got a 7.5 I'm going to demo to review as
well.

Dom - I have only used it on land so far. Still a bit too cold for me to get in the water.
Reverse launching is tough, but it can be done. It turns very fast for its size and the depower seems really good.
I used it today in 12 mph winds for gliding off a hill (just me - no board) and it was like flying a paraglider
I also ended up getting a 7m Pulse for my really windy/gusty days. We'll see how it does in 30 mph+ winds.
