What happened to your buggy today?

Let us know what happened to you and your buggy?

I was out riding in a frozen rye field yesterday flying my new Pansh Flux 2m and 4m kites. While negotiating a turn the kite powered up and slid the buggy sideways into a large rut. I ended up rolling out of the buggy which then flipped over as a result of bending the axle bolt and breaking the plastic rim.

I'm glad I had my helmet on and was able to laugh about what happened. It was fun while it lasted.

PL Venom II 16m, HQ Apex III 7.5m, Pansh Flux 2m & 4m
Kite Trike
Blake - US35

With much blessing comes great responsibility.

Where did you source those wheels from? I've never seen ones like those for sale.

That's an interesting failure point in that wheel and good to know about.

I believe they are original Kite Trike rims.

If you look closely you can see the white stress marks along the ribs were there were stress concentrations.

The bearing size is 12mm ID x 35mm OD x 11mm wide. Which sucks trying to find a replacement. Anyone know where to find a plastic rim with 35mm bearing seat? I may have to consider upgrading to PL Rim with 47mm OD bearings if I cant find anything.

I have one and the bolt if you need. Mine are black though, not red. Contact Daelyn at Customerservice@awindofchange.com if you can't source one elsewhere.
