Every piece of metal used to build my buggy I ordered from them. Top notch supplier! I've even ordered HDPE from there. Like you said, not dirt
cheap basement prices, but you get what you pay for. It's nice when there is no minimum order and you have it shipped to your door in a few days.

If anybody needs 4130 Chromoly tubing, you should bookmark http://www.aircraftspruce.com . If you shop carefully, they have really low prices on high volume runs of different sizes of tubing.
Right now it looks like 5/8" 0.035" 4130 is going for $2.10 / foot. Discount of 10% for 100 ft. or more of same part number. If you are into that
kind of thing (lightweight strong, steel structures and frames...) these are really good prices.. |
