Flysurfer 6m Peak3 - SOLD
I'm selling a lightly used Flysurfer 6m Peak3 (yes, 3). Great kite in great condition, used twice on Ivanpah during IBX 2016. Kites comes equipped
with Flysurfer's venerable "reef line safety system". I'm selling the kite RTF with an (also twice used) Infinity 3.0 50 cm bar and line set with
Flysurfer's Pull/Pull system. Kite can also be bought "kite only" and I'll hold onto the bar as a back up. I will sell the bar alone should somebody
have already bought the kite alone, but I won't sell the bar first and leave the kite stranded.
I can verify that the reef line safety works exactly as advertised. I know this because I was wildly overpowered and pulled the rip cord. The kite
bunched up like a ball just as it was supposed to and was none the worse for wear. It did come away with plenty of playa dust that I washed off once
I got home in a big tub with hot water and highly diluted laundry detergent.
The kite was sent for repairs to "Fix My Kite" in Texas and they did a very professional job of repairs of one wing tip that I "introduced" to the
playa for an instant. Please see pictures below and note that the repairer put some nice extra reinforcement cloth on the inside, so in many ways its
better than new at the repair site.
Reason for selling? I have really come to love the Born-Kite LS2s and bought the 5.5m and 7.5m versions making this kite sort of the odd kite out in
my quiver. Don't even think about inquiring about Session Saver (12m P3); it's not going anywhere! :D
New kite cost $600 and bar cost $500.
Flysurfer 6.0 Peak3 kite-only - $360 + shipping
Flysurfer Infinity 3.0 bar, 50cm with five lines - $300 + shipping
Kite plus bar bundle - $650 + shipping - SOLD

I was wondering if that was gonna happen with how much you liked the LS2.
If I could afford to trade in my P1, I would, but A. Not sure that would work out and B. No time before JIBE.
Good luck with the sale!
Trusted seller!... I have a 12m P2 that was formerly in Steve's employment and it's a great kite!
I'm going to take a nap now

I do believe a fair amount of merchandise has passed between our playa-dusted fingers. I remain particularly fond of the sysmic wheels you sold me a
couple of years ago. :D
The 6m P3 would be an ideal compliment to your quiver! Mine is rigged with Flysurfer's new reef line 5th line safety which is akin to the re-ride you
are already familiar with. With Flysurfer the internal bridle lines converge at the center of the leading edge and stub out of the kite in a short
line (a couple of inches) with a knot on the end. The fifth line simply attaches to the bridle stub with a larkshead knot. There is no need to use
the reef line if you don't want to. The kite works fine flagging out from a 4.5 line set. My bar has the 5th line installed.
Make mom proud and stock up!

So, the first domino has fallen. What kite(s) (the one the 6M Peak replaces) will go on sale next? :D
