New kite advice

Hello Hive,

I need some advice for my next investment. I want to get a new 4 line kite.
I already have a PL Hornet 3m and a small HQ Symphony 1.3. I'm looking to get something in between those 2.
I've been thinking of just getting a 2m Hornet, but would also like to try something new. Also looked at the Wolkensturmer Paraflex 2.3. and Peter Lynn Uniq 1.5.
Basically I want less pull than the 3m Hornet, but with the speed of the HQ.
Any advice and ideas are welcome, thanks!

Welcome from another newbie!

Less pull? Is this your first power kite? Currently my only kite is a 3.1m and I feel it is a great place to start. Take a look at the prism tensor 3.1. It regularly goes on sale on Amazon for $250 new and ready-to-fly. Its lines are adjustable and can be tuned for speed vs. pull.

I own one, and it's a blast... I can almost guarantee you will want more pull as soon as you learn how to pilot well!

Haha, yah well, sometime the wind is just too strong for the Hornet.
So yeah, I want one with less pull, but speedy.

If you want a speedkite for bombing around and don't mind dropping down to 2 lines. Google or do a Youtube search for "Lycos Kite". At the higher wind speeds, kite speed will eventually translate into pull.

A Lycos 2.5 Comp in 8-12 mph winds was clocked at 110 mph.

Hmm, yeah Flexifoil is also an option.

indigo_wolf, the Lyco looks insane and fun. Wasn't planning on a 2 liner, but this got my attention. Will it have LESS pull than my 3m Hornet?

Maybe what you are looking for is a stunt kite rather than a traction kite.

I have a Prism 4D, that's awesome!
Must say I really like the Lycos, but would love to have it as 4 line.
Anything like that out there?
