Was just talking with our Sapelo volunteer coordinator about kite buggying and she agreed that it might be possible to set up a group event to ride Sapelo.

Sapelo is a cool place in its own right. The beach is spectacular and basically
empty most of the time. Accommodations are sparse but there is camping near the beach for up to maybe 20 people if one wanted to stay over one or more days.

I will be running a beach sweep on May 20 and could take one or two folks with me to get a look at the situation.

Yall kick it around and if there is interest we will approach the park naturalist about it.
