It's not exactly Orange County, so how do you discover skateboarding in a place like that?
Through school; some friends of mine had a board and it snowballed from there. I loved being on the street.

If you could make 20,000 Euros a month as a pro in France, but instead of soccer the only thing on local TV was X-Games coverage and reality shows featuring Ryan Sheckler, Rob Dyrdek, and Bam Margera, would you be down?
No, I wouldn't be involved. That's not my cup of tea.

No, seriously not into it. I'm happy where I'm at today. Just couldn't do it.
You toured the US for the first time this summer. Which French stereotype of Americans did you find to be the most true?

The Gypsy tour is mellower, but having Ty pushing you on the Motel 6 tour is great, too. It's really two different things with different goals.
What makes riding for Cliche better than trying to ride for a board company in the States?
It's a lot easier and more accessible. Plus, I wouldn't want to give up the Euro way of life. When people out there ask you what you do for a living and you say, "I'm a pro skateboarder," what's the most common reaction?
I'm sure the same as everyone else, that it's not a job. That's followed by, "What will you do when you're 30?"
Is skateboarding chick repellent, or does it actually help to get you laid?
I'm sure it could help, but Toulouse isn't Orange County so I do without.

From as far as I can remember it's JB. He opened the door for France, and possibly Europe.

I didn't even skate back then so I couldn't tell you.

That's a tough one. Maybe the general population would say Americans, but then again French-speaking Belgium gets all the jokes. I don't pay attention to it, so I'm really not sure.
Did it hurt your feelings when the Bush regime took the "French" out of fries and toast?

Not really, but it did reinforce their stupidity. We still ask for American hamburgers no matter what's going on.

He's the best footballer there is. He's so talented and lived his dream; came from nothing to glory. He's humble and bonds the French with his Algerian heritage.

Yeah, that sucked. We would have beaten Italy, for sure. They shouldn't have even reached the finals; they faked a penalty against Australia in the early rounds.

Family and friends, everyone who has my back--and even those who don't, all good.

I have a small Lincoln SP125 plus that I have welded the crap out of for the last 15 years with absolutely ZERO problems. It welds nicely up to 3/8" plate. For a hobby welder it has been awesome. You can probably find one on CL for under 300 bucks. Stay away from the big box wlders (weldpack) they are price-point welders that are built as cheaply as possible. For a little 120V machine, it has been awesome. If you are not running it full throttle, you can power it up off a single 20A circuit. For best results forget about flux core and just use gas. I use C02 on mine but 25/75 will work just as good.

I haven't ever used a Longevity so can't comment on it. Personally for me I would never purchase anything but a Miller or Lincoln, sure they may cost a little more but for something that will last 10 years plus, the extra cost is nothing compared to the welding power, customer support, backing and comfort knowing that it will work as it is listed.

Never heard of that company before, but i second Kents thoughts, Lincoln or Miller. I use a Lincoln Power Mig 350 pretty regularly at work and love the machine!

I second that emotion. Last time I ate Spam and liked it was on a teenage camping trip back in the 1970s. I tried frying up some at home later that summer and it wasn't hardly as tasty. Since then my love of Spam has greatly diminished, as it was with this post. :barf:

Food can be amazing when hiking. Try it again later when at home and it will leave a bad taste in your mouth. Kind of like an off brand, un heard of brand of tool.
