Looks like the 2nd machine is straight stitch only; no zig-zag.
The 9" bed of the first machine appears to be a plus for bulky things like buggy seats. Free-arm sewing (ability to sew tubular objects) could be a
plus as well depending on projects.
Looks like fun!
