South Padre Island is doing well at this point.
South Padre Island is on the west side of hurricane Harvey and a hundred miles from the landfall of the eye. The west side of a hurricane is much
weaker than the east side. We have not had winds over 40 miles per hour and we're looking like the weather will pass without any problems. Our winter
northerlies are often much stronger.
