Diameter of fork attaching bolt?

What diameters is the bolt for attaching the fork to the swan neck on various brands of buggies? Has anyone ever bent or broken one?

My flexifoil has a 20mm tube (overkill? for the small buggy). Libra's might be 10mm (not positive, please correct or confirm).

What diameter is too small or what is overkill to hold a fork on securely ?

3/8 inch seems to be the size if I recall correctly. I personally wouldnt run a 5/16 or 1/4 bolt.

Never had an issue with the fork bolt. Consider too that it is well supported at both ends and unlike the rear wheel bolts. Im sure you could probably get by with 1/4 but is that a bolt you want to take a chance with?

You could run larger for aesthetics or convenience if say for example you had a stock of 1/2 bolts or all thread.
