Thanks to all we met!
We just got back from the pre-event, and Wow, what a bunch of fantastic people we met! Everyone went out of their way to make Spencer and me feel
welcome. When we showed up at El Mirage, most were in the process of packing up, due to all the motorcycles, ultralights, 4x4s etc. We tagged along,
and after a longer drive than were led to believe, pulled into Superior. No sounds whatsoever! Only buggies and kites. At one point I found myself
going faster than ever before in a buggy and was passed like I was standing still by "Stupid Dave" who was going backward! He spun a few times and
then launched himself into the air. Jeeze, I felt like I should have been wearing a diaper. When you're the only person in your town who buggies, it's
hard to imagine just how talented the people in those videos are. At one point, Blake came over and aked if he could have a look at my kite. He had
noticed it wasn't flying correctly and graciously took a good amount of his time to tune it perectly! I didn't even realize I had a problem. Corey had
large amounts of advice, whether he was asked or not. (Does he remind anyone else of Donald Sutherland?) Susan is such a sweetie, and walked over to
explain that many pilots piss their pant at times too. I WAS SITTING ON MY CAMELBACK! I was invited for a sit and a beer by Chip (of leather buggy
fame) and his dad. All in all, we had a hoot, and were really taken by the hospitality of everyone. We'll be back next year, for sure.:singing

Pablo should be arriving in the next couple of hours and I know he has a story to tell. The drama that has taken place just to get there has been
extreme so you all know what this means? It's gonna be one helluva n event! I will be there is spirit only but hope you have a blast...
