New MG Supra on this side of the pond

Yipee nice and shiny. New (to me) buggy finally got here from the Netherlans, after a decent wait. Now lets see when the weather will cooperate to take this beauty out for a test spin. Also looks like this April she should be making the WBB trip.
Conrad thanks for the long post with many pictures from a few years ago, it helped figure out how to put this one together without much fuss.

Thank you guys. I have been stuck in the garage now sitting on the thing. Its about as comfortable as the sofa.
Looks like the Spring WBB is in the cards this year, hopefully nothing comes up to derail the plans.
For transport I will be using a home made hitch rack (very similiar to the racks that Van was making) which I made at the beginning of the year for the wide axle flexi. The only trouble is that i need to remake a longer vertical tube because the one I made for the flexi is too short for this buggy.

@Kober. This is the rack. Just finished welding it today and needs a coat of paint. It should do the trick.

What did use for the axle clamps on your rack?

Aluminum stage light half couplers. See picture below. For buggy axles up to 2" they are easy to find. Bigger than that becomes a little more difficult to find.
On the cross bar for the flexi rack I only welded two U shapes to the cros bar and I use a ratchet strap to hold things down. Couplers are a little easier obviously, but I still plan to use a ratchet strap for long trips, in case something lets go.

Time to update your avatar.
Thule has some nice cable clamps for the rear axle. I used the same ones you have with a strip of sheet rubber to help keep the metal to metal damage at a minimum.
Nice ride by the way.
