Peter lynn Pilot 12m2 vs the 81 sled

What do you guys think is the better all around kite?

Premier 81 sled 102 sqft at $300
Peter Lynn Pilot 12m2 129sqft at $260

Performance, stability, bang for buck, etc?

I've not flown that big of sled but have built and flown some smaller ones of similar design. The Peter Lynn pilots are very stable, and can lift a lot. Another big advantage - they have no spars or other breakable parts and can fold up into a very small package. Peter Lynn is probably the worlds best designer of lifting kites and goes to kite festivals all over the world.

You might get more useful feedback at kitebuilder.com. I'm pretty sure there are people there who have made and flown both. They have thread 10 pages long on the Peter Lynn pilot. I'm pretty sure they have some on big sled's as well. That site is more oriented to such kites and though mainly about building they have done a lot of flying of all kinds of kites.
