I've been looking for a relatively simple way to get straps onto my xr+ foot pegs. This'll do it. Thanks Ed.
Go ahead... tell me to "go fly a kite!" Please!

i would turn the bolt on the end of the peg around so the shaft is not digging into your boot/shoe.
i would also use stainless nylock nuts for everything, or stainless lock washers/washers at the least. or any threadlock compound otherwise.
though using normal galvanized nuts/washers should quickly rust and hold together in a saltwater environment, if that's your plan.

Yeah I made compromises, they were out of ss nuts, the belt is purple cause it's the only uncut one I had besides class a beige. Turns out the outside
of the belt needs to be level with the deck for easy step in. It's in a post labeled as a first try.
Title should be "ed is fishing for ideas, and he knows these guys will get disturbed when they see me making a proper muck of it and get me on the
right road" again I compromised.
I trip stumble and fall, but it's true that even a blind squirrel gets an acorn now and again. With a little help from my friends"
