remember that iconic photo of the Phantom 1 stack

remember that iconic photo of the Phantom 1 stack - 54m - 18, 15, 12, 9 - the kites doing a low pass on the beach in the UK? I'll post a shot to refresh memories. Well thanks to John Eaton (from the Power Kite Shop) for deciding to offer these kites up for sale after all these years and still in excellent condition. It was great to exchange emails and reminisce about the kites and NABX and many other things and assist in the deal between friends to get the kites shipped to Canada. They were shipped friday and arrived at my buddy Jim's house monday. Jim hasn't posted on here in a few years (since our last trip to NABX) but twisting his arm to get back in the saddle and come to JIBE. I know Jim is thrilled to get them - so these kites should be in the air over Jekyll next month...not sure if we'll try and stack them again but it would look awesome, maybe even add my 6m to round it out to 60m of nylon :o

What a great snag! Such a great photo of an amazing kite! Many good times ahead for Jim indeed. That photo is what drove me to chase down phantoms and use them nearly exclusively
