Grand Mesa spring splash

[]Justin messaged me to see if we could go hit the Mesa today forecast called for really light winds but we went ahead and gave it a shot. Justin and I were quite surprised to find 20 mile an hour winds. Fortune luck Smiles on the prepared and sometimes the unprepared. Because we both brought only our biggest kites a 15 meter turbine and an 11.5 Kahuna by Best. As luck would have it we have phone service and a good friend was coming up cross country skiing. I had him grab my 9m Best Nemesis for Justin and I used his kahuna. The wind was out of a very unusual North East Direction Gusty but workable we ended up skiing the entire area from front to back places I've actually never been there. I Eyewitness Justin pulling at least two maybe three power turns with a downward Loop nice work for the first year! I had some of my best lifts ever from advice I was given at IBX. The video is of Justin.
