Flysurfer Peak2 6m
Shopping for a special yellow/purple/black edition.
To match my 9m SE.
Howsomuchever a cheeseburger wrapper is okay too.
It can be kite only. Or with flysurfer bar.
Need a back up. I'm using up all the fun in the one Steve let me have.
Gravel is tough on kites. Gravel is what I have to work with.
Also have an interest in a 4m red Peak2 or 3.
Again just a backup.
The Longstar 3.5 is a hard act to follow. :smug:
Flying mostly single skins, with some orphans, the American flag, and a PL buggy. US01

You might want to broaden your search to the Peak(1).
Aside from your desired color scheme the original Peak rules. It is, IMHO, an outstanding kite. I would take it over the 2nd and 3rd generations.

Thanks for the advice. The colors are always a driver for me.
Most folk seem to think the first model was a nice try.
Never flew it so I dunno. Let me look up the colors.
The Orange is nice. Mr Krug's site shows some mods that are reccomended.
I'll do some searching. I do like old things that still work.
Hard to believe it's as good as the later models,
Found my pic on the resource page though.

I've never flown (or even seen in the flesh) a Peak1 but I'd back up what Tami noted. Many, many experienced users swear by the P1 6m. Nobody seemed
in love with the 1st gen Peak bar (other than light weight). The center hole is said to be small and sort of too sharp edged to avoid wear on the
strop line.
If it were me pulling a trigger for Peaks I'd be with you in liking the special color scheme you describe for the Peak2s. As for P1s, there is a
super nice looking black and pink model kicking around out there. You've heard my beef with the P3s before: single pulley per side in the DP
mechanism leading to higher than desired (by me) bar pressure.
Good luck!

I see what you mean Steve,
Just look how delicately he holds that bar, tea fingers out and all.
