Nightmare online orders

Ok, so things could be worse. They could be better, haha
I ordered 3 big foots from Amazon and they screwed up the order and then the canceled the order and requested I return the tires. After 2 weeks of waiting they were gone back to the sender.
Here is the insanity of the internet, Amazon refunded my money. Ok done.
I ordered another set from Walmart for a cheaper price and 1 week of waiting. The day befor Walmart delivered the tires, amazon sent me a replacement order. I can't send them back because of "no record of delivery ".
Now I have 2 sets of tires.
I think I'm going to use Walmart in place of amazon from now on.

I ordered a set of plastic wheels from a local guy that is producing custom designed buggy wheels on a CNC machine. He sent me a set of custom designed wheels to try out. Oh my my, only stipulation is I can't show them in any form of photography.
Guess it's only for the Lookee lose.
The guy with the wheels told me how to customize the Sysmic 8 inch wheels to accommodate a tire tube with an offset valve. A real no brainer.
Also found a new kite from PKD called the Twice. Got one coming from the factory for testing.

I know I have to get out more and play with others. We will have to turn the computer off for a few weeks while I test and play. Can't wait to try the new wheels and kite.
Also got a 16.5m inferno on its way, blitzhound, ready for some fun?

If it wasn't for the Amazon screwup I would be sitting in the pool and drinking hard cider in 90 plus weather. The beach is much cooler and a lot more fun. Besides I need a picture of the new green kite buggy and this looks like the time to enjoy the final years of my life.
More to come....

Are the wheels cast or molded or machined from solid stock? What is he making them from? Why no pictures? Are they going into production?

The prototype is out of solid ABS, the final will be out of aluminum.
BECAUSE HE SAID SO.
it's just cool that he asked me to R and D the wheels. Some things are just that way, much like my AQR was 7 years ago.
I know solid ABS is a fraction of the cost of solid aluminum.
I ordered a can of green peal off paint from Walmart to paint the wheels.
Blitz, soon my friend, soon.

Well for what it's worth amazon finally took back the tires and now I have a credit on my account. Will have to see how long it takes to clean it all up.
As for the test wheels and what they look like.
They have Alien heads have spokes on the wheel. There are three heads. While testing and beating these up I found that there's not enough strength and the spoke system and they collapsed. So the guy says he's going to add two more spokes to make five and see if that will make it stronger. then I can post a picture.

As for this post subject, I long for the corner store that carries everything and anything. You go in and everyone knows your name and they somehow have what your looking for. If not, they will have it in the morning.
I long for the simple things of life........ like giving the carhop an extra 1.00 tip because she looked exceptionally nice as she rollerskated away after taking my order only to show off a bit more swing after leaving my meal on the window tray.
