In the OBX for the week to hopefully do some kiteboarding. Got yelled at once for flying my big depowers on jockeys ridge already, but hoping to go down to Hatteras kite point teusday, Wednesday and Thursday to catch some good winds. Anyone around care to join and give me some tips on the water?

You might try the Salvo Day use area if you are looking for a launching spot that is not quite as far south. I think can also launch in Nags Head at Windmill Point (they might have changed the name by not.) And there is the Island Surf and Sail shop (Bartons) in Rodanthe. Wish I was there.
