Hi. I currently own a 2.4 radsail, this is my first kite also. It is very easy to fly, very quick and manouverable. The only thing with it is, it does take a fair bit of wind for it to put a big grin on your face, but in the right conditions it does pull quite well.

Im not really that experienced with power kiting yet(only 1 summer and a few winter days) But I would reccomend one as a first kite.

Hope this helps

Dan.

That's a good place to start size wise. I'm not personally familiar with Radsail but don't here complaints. Learn to fly it blind while sitting / lying down. Then when you end up that way by accident it will be familiar territory. :o

The 2.4 will give you enough pull to entertain + start riding in higher winds. You will eventauly want a bigger kite but by then will have all the skills down so you can handle it properly ! The 2.4 will always be usefull for big winds and teaching friends.

Kites: 2.5m Profoil , Quadrifoil XL kitesurfer, NPW 5 Danger.
Flexifoil: 1.7m Sting, 4.9m Blade 3, 9m Blade 2.
Flysurfer : 19m Speed 2 SA, 7m Pulse
Peter Lynn :18m Phantom, 15m Synergy, 10m Synergy, 1200 Farc, 460 Sarc, 130 Tarc, 5m Peel, 4.2m , 6.4, 8.5 C-Quads, 3.5 LS2 single skin.

Rides: Flexi / P.L. Frankin'Buggy , Shaped + straight skiis, sand skis, Coyote blades. Core 95 ATB. RKB R2 ATB .
