Wonder what it would take to make that street legal? I'd guess headlights, taillights, and brakes right off the bat. Anything else?

Not sure if it would ever be street legal, being that low slung, but to up the survivability factor against the existing bozo quotient in more locations...

Probably a visibility flag or pole mounted strobe to be seen around parked cars.

I looked it up - there are a whole long list of things necessary to get street legal. Horn, mirrors, engine hood, windshield with wipers, and other things depending on where you live.

Ouch. Here is a less costly and more quiet way to power your buggy when there is no wind. Just use gravity. (There are a lot of these on youtube. Some look like fun.)
