Sysmic S3 Buggy
I contacted Sysmic about purchasing a S2 buggy and they referred me to the S3 model that is coming soon. S3 is an aluminum and fiberglass buggy that
is lightweight and foldable. You just have to dig a but deeper in to your pockets and find $1250EUR +VAT+Shipping. Umm no.......
I hope the S2 Steel is not discontinued because that price didn't break the bank and it had the level of performance I desired for the two times of
year that I find my self buggying.
The hunt continues....

Maybe you can buy the S3 frame only. That will save on shipping weight.

I know you are leaning towards the sysmic, but a sweet deal just popped up on the Powrkiteforum FB page on a libre Hardcore. A great buggy for sure.
I'll send you an invite to that page on FB so you can check it out

That's a very sexy folding buggy.
Bonus points to the person that tries to get that on a plane as carry-on

Yup. Sysmic just confirmed that they sold their last S2 last month and have discontinued the product. Looks like S1 or S3 are the only Sysmic options
anymore.
I'm trying to get a quote for a S3 less tires so it all fits in a bag to reduce shipping costs.

But those rims are totally worth it.

It is now for sale on their website. Twelvefifty euros. It'll still be quite a bit more after shipping and toll to Norway. But it can be taken with on
overseas flights, this one. (!!!)

Great looking engineering, but the back axle profile looks tiny. I'd be worried about bending it just sitting down.

I would be worried about an alu buggy combined with stainless parts/screws and contact with salty water. Best conditions for corrosion! Better go for
an Xxtreme Basixx or GT Raw for less money?

I admit to thinking the same thing. Gravitationally challenged friends think alike! I dare say Small Bear that this buggy may just not be for you...
(me neither). Still, gotsta love that a company continues to innovate in the tiny little kite buggy world; I'm all for it even if I can't benefit from
it directly.

I get it and mostly I was just kidding around with my buddy Colin whom I look forward to riding with at IBX in the beginning of April. He and I are
both somewhat, err, plus-sized.
I appreciate that an axle made of fiberglass would be designed to flex and it is a most interesting material to use in this setting. I'd be curious to
learn if its use confers some sort of beneficial shock absorption. That would be interesting. A little "sag" of the rear end wouldn't necessarily be
a bad thing so long as you don't start dragging your seat like certain Vapor-Trail folks I know... :saint:

Good question - not sure if xxtreme still exists...:puzzled: But maybe you can get a used one?
GT Race Raw should be available on demand. Contact Martin Faber more information.

I've contacted them about shipping costs. The price has gone down to $1050 euro though might be more depending on how it is configured. I don't
think the VAT should apply and the euro is pretty low now (~1.12 or as they would say 1,12 )
BTW - there is a product called Tefgel which can be used to prevent aluminum and stainless steel from getting stuck. (Have to use that on my windsurf
foil).

I believe you are right about VAT not applying. When ordering kites from Born-Kites this is not included.

VAT is only applied to EU citizens. When you make a purchase in EU, VAT is included in the price, but you can fill out the form to get a refund at the
airport on your way out of EU.
