OOOOOH Yea, Its just like Christmas for me right now. I just bought a brand new Bullet 4.5. And you know I cant wait..Now here comes the part where
you track the item all the way to your door step.Do I dare go to work on the day it arrives? Hard choice I'll let the wind decide.:D

Second Opinion
Actually, I believe the rule is that there is no wind for at least 7 to 15 days after purchasing a new kite. At least, that's been my experience.
Enjoy folding and unfolding it, draping it over various items of furniture in your home, inflating it indoors with an electric fan, picking off all
the loose threads, imagining how hard it will pull... for 7 to 15 days.
Of course, you can always go out for a trip and leave it at home, in which case the wind will be perfect for it, because you don't have it with you.
Ain't kiting fun?

The general rule is... if you buy a big kite, the winds will be blowing a hooley for the next 7 - 15 days. If you buy a small kite the winds will be
next to nothing for the next 7-15 days. If you buy a midsized kite the winds will be light with gusts to 40+mph for the next 7-15 days. Basically,
dude, you're screwed for the next 1-2 weeks.
So as the others have said - don't bother taking a day off and thanks for ruining the meteorological conditions for your fellow fliers in the
surrounding area.

See, ya gotta work the system, get a couple big kites that you love, then every time some noob buys a small kite, you're fully lit on the big one.
Landboarding in 2-3mph was a bit of a chore though.

Couple of points about the 4.5 Bullet.
The bridle seems to set the lines closer to the middle. That combined with it's low aspect create an odd reaction. Sometimes I'll be moving along at
speed with the kite more or less downwind and it will travel along pointing nose up ? Soon as you turn it to point across wind it powers up and takes
off. It's not a problem just a Quirk.
It's a bit small for floaty jumps + has a nasty tendency to throw you downwind rather than up and slam you into the ground. Let it go if you feel that
starting to happen. It's designed more for pull than lift.
It's a good kite. You'll enjoy it !

shut down now. :megan:
