Haven't been to that "beach" in more than two years. I was very excited at first but several things about it turn me off enough to not ride there anymore. First, the surface. The sand has a crust on it from the salt and it makes for a really annoying drag to buggy rolling. Second, there isn't a tide to smooth anything out so the longer the summer goes on the worse the surface gets with footprints, holes people dug, etc. Third, that same crust grabs bridles and lines like it's possessed. Fourth, and this is the worst: gnats. Billions and billions of gnats. Nuff said.
