Name this doohicky
I use this to drop the angle on my hook and hold it down.
Carabiner to hook, and straps to leg pads.
A ring and 90 deg. out a flat ring.
Getting a Fusion, so I need another.
This one came with and old bar, what's its name?

Spreader bar hold down strap. I think Dakine and Mystic make them.
The new Mystic stealth spreader is wide enough that it doesn't rotate, between that and the lock to close it, has been one of the best upgrades I ever
did to my harness. Not sure how well it works with seat harness though - you would have to check to see if the straps fit if you were interested.
Worth a look though.

Thanks Jeff, What I'm lookin is the stainless fitting that is a ring on one end and a ring with a flat bottom to accommodate a strap.
Usually the strap just runs through the base of the hook, however I find this gives me a better angle on the hook.
Just the the ring fitting between the carabiner and the strap. Wish I remembered where that bit came from.? :dunno:

Check West Marine or some other boating store. Bet they sell something you could use.

It's an "eye and eye". They're more often swiveling than fixed (enough so finding fixed ones is harder), and you're unluckily to find that. The two
easy alternative options for non-swiveling is either buy two stainless o rings and pay a welder a couple bucks to make it, or get red threadlock, a
male and female lifting eye-ring and thread together.

Thanks again Mr Sam. Found on the bay per the link.
Also found a snap swivel in the same search which may work even better.
I appreciate the help.

When you say 'snap swivel' might you mean a 'panic snap'?

Thanks, That is an inspiring fitting.
I'm not sure what I need it for, but it belongs in kite land somewhere.
Quick release and swivel in a compact little arrangement.
I'm gonna try the new harness before I mod. Since Dakine was nice enough to commit a whole production run just to match my buggy, least I can do is
try it first.
