skidding into the other direction?

its difficult to explain, but could someone give me any tips on how to do it succesfully?

you are going along (lets say to the right) and you reach the end of your run, pull the kite across the window to the left, then without stopping the board or hopping about 60degrees, you skid the tail around until its the nose, and you are then going along to the left.

make sense??

you need to be well powered and on a slippery surface and leaning way back against the kite - so if the kite can't support you leaning back against it, you are not powered enough.

A downloop of the kite would likely give you the power to get through that but you better be ready with your left foot fully weighted pushing forward or your going to get yanked.

Changing direction that rapidly without stopping the board usually means some air time or you could skid around to toeside and then jump back as the kite powers.
