Pansh Ace 2nd batch date?
Does anyone know the date that the famous 2nd batch of not so lifty Aces came out? I thought I made the cut but I am not seeing the big lift I was
hoping for.
I have not flown in winds above 12mph so maybe I am being hasty with my judgement. Any feedback?

There were no differences in the kites, just a rumor that got started from kites not being set up properly. I have one of the supposed "Second batch"
kites and theres plenty of lift. seems to fly best with practically zero tension on the brakes.
Shorten your powers about 2" and fly it in 15mph and you'll be happy. If all else fails check out andya's AoA mod on racekites.

I will try to shorten the powers and give that a go. Do you have to shorten then so much that they are unuseable? I am concerned about landings.
Also, have you found any methods to stop the bridles from tangling so much? I am thinking about a coating that would make them slick and stop the
nightmare. A bar of soap rubbed on the lines?

After the lines all stretched (Pansh Lines) and i evened them all out, i find about 3 1/2 inches works for me. The brakes end up being pretty slacky,
but it still turns on a tip with moderate input. Another bonus is that the tips don't fold in at all anymore, well they haven't since i shortened the
powers anyway.
As for the bridals i heard of people trying soap armor all WD40:puzzled:.. I was thinking of trying some silicon based scotch guard, but i think i'll
just spring for a can of that sealnGlide or maybe that jiggaloo stuff i hear it's basically the same as sealnGlide.

So far I would say around 3-4 feet in 10-15mph winds. I have been trying to fly in more powerful winds to find the best conditions. So far this kite
gives a little more lift then my 2.5 bullet! So something is not right! The problem I am finding is that there is good pull so unless I wear my
harness time is limited before I am wiped out! This kite pulls at all angles-non stop.
Tonight I am going to shorten my power leaders to change the brake controls to see if I can get higher. I am not seeing much pull at all at the zenith
though. This is where I should be seeing it but I still have not experienced it.
Oh yeah- do not fly this kite in wet weather. When it gets wet it bounces around up and down due to the extra weight. If it gets sideways it will turn
unside down and doing a reverse spin from the ground with a 5 meter in the middle of the wind window can be an interesting experience!

Unfortunately, due to a scheduling issue at work- I have not flown in almost 2 weeks! i should be back on track this Sunday though. I have made some
more adjustments and will try them out Sunday night. With all my luck it will be raining and no wind!!
