I have a 3m Beamer III and I am now looking for something bigger.

The 3m is a great kite but it doesn't have the power in low winds and things only get good when the winds top 30 and that doesn't happen alot where I live. What would people on here recommended. I was thinking maybe a 5-6m.

Also I have only got around £300 to spend

I have a 4.5 bullet and it is pretty mean they also have a 5.5 & a 7.0. But that is a big jump from a 3 meter. Wait to hear from some others. Do some surfing the net and you can find one for half that.

The next kite for you will depend on a few things. Your weight, the average winds around your area, the surface you need to ride on. If you are a big boy, don't have very big winds and ride on thick grass or a slow surface then 6. If you are small, it's windy and hardpack then the 5.
PKD makes a 5.5 with a manually adjustable bridle that gives it some versatility in you price range. It could be worth a look.

What are you planning to do with the larger kite? Rec fly, buggy, board? Weight, and avg winds where you are would help. Looking at your avatar youre near Newcastle? I thought you had pretty decents winds up there ( I used to live in Newmarket).

Snowbird, What cha saving up for next? Another Blade? And Miller can I get some free kites?

A 7m Phsyco 3 or Pulse would round things out nicely. I'm going to be traveling on and off for a while so need to avoid any purchases until after the vacations. If anyone wants to GIVE AWAY either of those kites they would get a good home ! The 5m Ace has been getting a lot of use lately. Most of it's problems go away at about 10 kts and it's serving well.
The 1st vacation is SOBB in a bit over a week ! :tumble:
