I know there's been talk of an unofficial race, probably some cones set up and someone yelling go, nothing but bragging rights to gain, bunch of guys having fun more than a full on competitive race. SOBB seems like a way more relaxed bunch of guys ripping up the beach having fun sort of time.

I'm more concerned in getting a huge crowd cruising down the beach. If the wind's not in our favor I'll bring a long tow rope, we can do a down winder and I'll tow guys back to camp.

Did some one say events!!!! How about a enduro from Sunset Beach to the Columbia River and back, say 2 times= 40 miles. Circuit races are on the menu with prizes from local kite shops and yours truly. We have also scheduled a group buggy tour of the beach with no one left behind. Buggy cross through the face of the dunes for bigfoots with jumps, bumps and dune banks to climb will be a Bison event. Don't forget Mad Dogs grilled tuna or Dave's grilled oysters or the fire pit at buggy camp each evening.

I think Jon's plans sound much better than mine, I'm up for that.
