That all depends on what your avg. winds and buy just one! is what you'll be riding in, Lets say that you get a 4.5 kite then your only set for that wind, now what if it not 4.5 winds HUMMM... might be sitting around a bit. also it will depend in and what your riding on like sand ,grass parking lot

In the future you'll want to get a high med. and light wind foil now your set for any thing that comes up and more seat time you'll get in

for buggying i would recomend i blade lll and also for recreational flying i would get a 4m blade
