I've found a site listing kite feastivals all over England UK which is all very well and good but a bit too much of a travel.

Does anyone know of any in Scotland over this summer????

Here is a small bit of info I found. No idea how old it is:

Kelburn Festival of Flight, Ayrshire on May 23 - 24.
Sunderland International Kite Festival on July 4 - 5.
Dunfermline Kitefest on September 20.
