Buggy Plates

Another odd question, does anyone in the US make buggy plates? I could order them off Euro but shipping is costly.

I could make them myself, but tooo lazy. :spin:

What kind of plates are you talking about? Like a license plate to identify yourself? Or pieces of steel you would mfr a buggy from?

I'm doing some cad drawings for Popeye right now and he talks about and I am just finishing drawing his "platework" so the word has multiple meanings for me right now. The subject doesn't really apply to me but I read about A LOT more here than I comment on. This group is quite the wealth of knowledge, and I'm trying to learn all I can about my new hobby/sport. I bet you could get a sign shop to make you something up for little money then cut it out to the shape you want, or even get the sign shop to do it for you.

here in the UK, most houses these days have UPVC faccias under the guttering on a house roof, this makes ideal material for making buggy number/race boards..I have recently make some for myself using this material..

Popeye, I never realized just how HUGE your latest buggy was until I saw it close to your van. I must have just thought you were a tiny little person. It must be a blast to get that sucker up to speed.

Hey Ricardo

If you send me the dimensions you need ...I'll be happy to make you a set...(I own a sign shop just north of Seattle) so I've got plenty of scrap laying around

I am only small anyway 5'7"....thats why I use footpeg extenders, so I compromise the geometry

The wheel centers front to back is 1750mm
