Eolo Radsail Pro 4m^2 VS PKD Buster 4m^2
hi everyone,
i'm tryin to choose between these two kites, and was hoping that some of you could spread some light on the pro's/con's of each kite..
now i realise they are not exactly "top of the range" kites, however they seem to be the largest kites i can afford..and frankly, this being
my first quad line and serious sized power kite, i don't really want to go any bigger.
i could afford a much smaller (2.5m^2) Bullet, but would rather go for the larger size..
from what i've heard Eolo are making much better kites than before, that the construction quality has simply gone up.
also i've noticed that RRP for the Radsail is a little under £100 more expensive than the Buster. this would make me lean towards the Radsail,
however price does not always equate to quality..
so which would you go for? thanks for the help

Go on ebay. I bought a 4m radsail pro inc P+P for £98 from Germany, although i think this was a bit of a one off people are selling the 4 + 5m kites
for around the £140/£150 mark at the moment. I am impressed with the 4m. It is a very manoverable kite. I own a 4m viper also and am comparing to
this. According to reviews i have also read the radsail is favorable. However, wait and see what other people have to say about the two kites. I
thought I would just let you know where to get a cheaper radsail.

i saw the radsail at a similar price on ebay as well, but didn't want to rush into the deal. i waited to see what other kites were around at the
size/price/quality before jumping into it..
..but i know a shop that's selling them for £140, which is still about £80 off the RRP..
anyone else got anything to say on these kites?
thanks,
MD

I've never flown either kite, but the reviews I read online tend to lean towards the Radsail as better for jumping and buggying. Apparently, the
Buster flies fast and stable whereas the Radsail offers more consistant power and edge handling.
Both kites are sold as "ready to fly" and that usually means replacing the fly line right away. I guess the Buster comes with twisted lines
(use this to bundle your recycled newspaper).
I doubt either of these kites will be the one you retire with, but you probably can't go wrong choosing one or the other. Based on the info I
read (search with google), I'd lean more toward the Rad.

using 5sqm
my friends 5sqm has a tendancy to fold a corner into the bridle causing annoyance because this brings the kite down quite heavily
the 5m has a lot of pull when bringing the kite over to pendulum jump the kite pulls forward
all the radsail pro series (inc. 4m) are of the same design they pull very well and as im only 10st it means u can jump high!:D
currently borrowing radsail 5m off m8 cos i need sum cash for a kite

an alterative
I have just brought a 5meter beamer for only £150, in the same price range as the radsail or buster.
I am new to kiting but when comparing my beamer to my mates 6meter radsail i find my kite much easier to do jumps on, I also found it easier to
control, even in higher winds.
I also find that the radsail has more pull lower down than my beamer, but my beamer has more pull higher up.
if you are interested in buying the beamer may i suggest this site
http://www.marionvillemodels.com/kites/power-kites/Beamer-5m...
they where cheap and kite arived next day. hope this helps.
