Radsail 3.6m or a HQ Beamer 3.6m
Looking to get my first 4 string and I'm liking both any comments welcome
I'm about 200lbs and looking for some entertaining static flying possibly moving onto a buggy?
Cheers

Cheers
I've bought a Beamer II 3.6m off e-bay and I'm now thinking I may have over done the size a little.

You'll be fine with the 3.6. It was my first kite too! It will help you progress and refine your skills quickly. Good choice and safe flying!

Yep you'll be fine mate! as i said i wanted the 3.6 but just could not find one!!
When you take it out for the first time make sure theres like only 10mph wind or less!! just for the first time.
Its amazing JUST how much pull something like this has! in 5 min of flying it you'll be out of breath, you'll feel it the next day to!!
Have fun!:wink2:

Took delivery of the aforementioned kite today and unpacked it to have a quick look and the things as long as my kitchen.
Have to say I've not even taken it outside and I've already gain a certain amount of respect and fear towards it!!!

Double check everything prior to launch--helmet, kite killers, side window launch--no problems!! Suggest using the middle knot on the brake bridles.
Dont forget to have fun!!

Start out slow... Respect the wind, & Feel what the kite tells you through the lines, when its in the Air, I love the way it reacts to the
slightest wind variables, then transmits those through the lines, to the handles & into ones fingers & thus, Thier own reactions... When you
learn to feel the winds & learn to react accordingly to all that "4" lines tell you, Thats when you'll feel things really beginning to be MORE
Fun... Starting WITH a "small kite" as my 1st 4-line... My 72" Thunderfoil, I think gave me a better reference point as to, just what 4 lines were all
about, & being able to Respect the Science & thus Areodynamics of WHAT a 4-line was capable of, helping me to feel more comfortable &
knowing I could handle a Bigger kite when the time & $$$ comes to getting a bigger 1...

I started out with a 3.6 Beamer just a few short years ago. It came with handles. The more you fly them, the more you will gain confidence, and start
to memorize how they act in different winds.
I will echo the comments those posted before, especially respect the wind. I thought I was getting pretty good with the Beam until our famous gusty
winds clobbered me with a dose of reality. I have a permanently grass stained kite buggy shirt to serve as a reminder!
Enjoy, looks like you have a great place to fly!
Life's too short to be anything but happy!
My stuff:
Flexifoil 1.2m Sting
HQ Symphony 2.2m
Beamer 3.6m
Pro Foil 2.5, 4.5m
JoJo 6m
Montana 7m
Flysurfer 19m Speed 2 SA
Flexi bug
Several pair of kite skis
