Anyone got info on the sail conversion

Been looking with interest at the sail conversions for buggies. Looks like there may be a few out there. Got a spare buggy and want to try it. Can it be done by simply mounting a windsurfer sail like the "sail buggy". Might be fun for NABX next spring. Any one got any info or comments.

I was making a landsailer (kite buggy technicly is one but it is a class 8) and i was going to mount a windsurfer sail to it. Then i was like hey wait i have a half finished NPW i could just use that. (i still want to do a sail though) Can you weld? If so you could weld on a small tube (like 3") to right infront of the front wheel. Take a slightly larger tube that will fit over it and put it on and drill a hole through both sides of each. (make sure the longer tube is the same inside diameter as the windsurfer mast) and then put a pin through to hold it on. Then slip the sail over it drill a hole put in a pin and run some line and you have a sail with minimal intrusion to buggying.
