Kites locked in trunk!

Here's a good one:
- Day off,25-30 mph winds, low tide at 8:11 am. Perfect right?
- Got up late 7:45
- Got to the beach at 8:40 went to open my trunk and the lock is not working!:o
All of my gear is now stuck in the trunk! I have a ski pass and was able to get some out but my buggy axle is in the trunk and will not fit through the opening! oh yeah- my helmet too!
- I no longer have a back seat after I ripped it off of it hinges in a fit of madness. All week I look forward to flying then this crap happens!
- Get on the beach at 9:25 and find my lines are spaghetti- big surprise huh!
- Finally get flying and have 25 minutes before the tide comes in and I am going home.
-Walk back to my car completely pissed off. Try the trunk one more time....it opens. My day is complete!:barf:

maybe now you'll have more room in the back of the car to fit the buggy in w/o having to disassemble the buggy due to the kustom job on the back seat

That bites, Dude.
I probably woulda done the same thing....

Though on a positive note...the Fates have now been made aware that it'll take more than a little metal and upholstery to keep you from buggying :)

MY suv can't keep me from my stuff. Open front to back. What really sucks is that it opened when you were done. All the other stuff happened because of the lock. Then when it opens, all the other stuff wasn't really supposed to happen. I guess this was Murphys law with a poke in the eye in the end.
