riding toe side - any tips

Hi peeps
I've only done about 5 hours in total with my ozone 3m LD kite and landboard
so yesterday i tried riding it on toe side! how hard it that
i don't think it helped having handles with no harness and very little wind!

any tips that might help me out!
Would a control bar help with a harness!??

Harness can help but i learned on handles, you've just really gotta lean away from the kite, and roll down wind more to start with and then start building your edge once you're comfortable! Take it as slowly as possible to start with, if you're crusing along, just quickly flip to toeside and try and stay standing! Leaning over as much as possible to keep the board rolling the right way... practice just going down hill on the landboard as well!

be cautious not to build up too much speed until you can stop toe side. Start with you kite high and rollinto it nice and easy. From Toe Side you can actually do upwind turns if you've built up enough speed to coast with your kite above your head.

Yup what was said already. Take is slowly. You have to lean more going toeside. I think it is easier to do not hooked into your harness for starters.

My friend makes and sells lots of plywood boards. He has made around 200 over the past few years.
Here is a pic showing one of the first i.e. the black board.
