Your Addicted now what ?
I'm sitting here in the middle of the night happy as can be on T3.
I'm so glad that this sport came about before I became too old to learn it. It is by far the most fun sport I've ever tried and basically things I
invisioned as a child coming true! ( I still want the personal jet pack that I was promised ) I hope to take this sport with me into retirement and
make it part of my travels. Being set on the side line makes me see it can all be taken away with one minor injury.
I never flew stunt kites even though I now regret passing up the chance. After using the wind to ride I think I'ld go nutty if I couldn't do it.
I'm sure if I couldn't ride I'ld move to static flying.
So my question is ......... If you could only static fly would you move back to Rev's and Delta's or would you stick with tiny foils ?
Quiting all together is NOT an option :tumble:
Kites: 2.5m Profoil , Quadrifoil XL kitesurfer, NPW 5 Danger.
Flexifoil: 1.7m Sting, 4.9m Blade 3, 9m Blade 2.
Flysurfer : 19m Speed 2 SA, 7m Pulse
Peter Lynn :18m Phantom, 15m Synergy, 10m Synergy, 1200 Farc, 460 Sarc, 130 Tarc, 5m Peel, 4.2m , 6.4, 8.5 C-Quads, 3.5 LS2 single skin.
Rides: Flexi / P.L. Frankin'Buggy , Shaped + straight skiis, sand skis, Coyote blades. Core 95 ATB. RKB R2 ATB .

I still fly my sport kites at least as much as my foils so if I could only static fly, I would be flying those (and buying quite a few more of them).

When not power kiting... I like Revs, and the wife likes stunt kites. They are a lot of fun, and allow the imagination to wander while flying them.
I met one guy who's getting on in age at a fun fly. He flys little kites attached to a fishin' pole and is happy with that. Guess it just goes to
show that it's not what you fly... it's that you fly.
What do you do with your foils?
Charger 8, 12, 19
Scorpion 10, 16
And other foils...
Flexifoil Bug, CrazyFly board, MBS atb

I also still fly my stunt kites. I just discovered youtube I've seen stunt kites do things on there I didn't think were possible with a kite.

If you really want some fun try a single line controllable fighter kite. They are a blast and if you think a four line foil is hard to fly....then
wait till you get your hand on a fighter you'll end up :ticking:

Fly them all!! When I dont have enough wind to move I will fly anything static!! Beef up them arms,See how high you can go, Teather off, Slide on your
butt at 20mph.Hang on for dear life. Nothing will stop me. I guess. Except 0 wind. And if something does happen like an injury I am sure someone will
pull you behind there buggy I would. You my not be able to fly but you could still feel the wind in your face.

If it comes down to it, wifey and I will fly anything.......sport kites, fighters, garbage bags on string.......... hell, we might even dust off the
single lines and give them a go again. For us the point is putting something up in the air, enjoying the day, and letting the world pass by.

I've never flown a single line fighter before, nor have I seen it done. It seems to have its own underground following though.

Man, I don't know...If I had to fly static and that means no scudding, I think I'd have to say no to foils. Don't make me choose!
I flew stunt kites before getting into traction. Rev Supersonic was my first four line. Still the fastest, most nimble kite I own. No other kite I
know that can go from 60+ to 0 and take off in reverse in an instant like that. And all that with just little flicks of the wrist..

Flying:
1.5 m Ozone LD Stunt
2.2, 3.2, 4.2 m C-Quads
2, 3, 4, 5.5, 7.5m PKD Broozas
9m PL GII, w/ adjustable rear strap mod
Dual mode mod PL GI 13, HArc 6, FArc 12
Cab 5m Convert, 7&9m Xbow, 12m SB
Lots of stunt kites and a Rev Supersonic
Riding:
Libre Special buggy, PL Comp buggy
Line skiboards, & Lib-Tech Park & Pipes
Cabrinha Prodigy kiteboard

Revs definitely. I just sold a Rev Backtracker a while back. It was the only Rev I've had but I'd definitely get a 'real' one if there was no other
option, and money no object. I'll probably get another one at some point anyway, but would rather get some more foils if I had the spare cash

Sounds good to me. I love total control over a kite.
