Ground Industries - Mountain Board Delivery
Pathetic!
I am still waiting for my board which I ordered nearly two months ago. I'd have been better off with an MBS or something used.

Think about an MBS - they have a huge amount of stock for the holidays.
I really like the Comp 90.

did you order it direct from GI? I've had good luck getting parts from them rather quickly and always good service on the phone too. What is the
reason for the delay?

Supply chain problems is the reason for the delays. I ordered it through a dealer. He has been very nice and helpful regarding the information and
I'll order kites & gear from him in the future. GI has admitted to the problem and will compensate for the delays by giving the buyers a free
t-shirt. GI products are extremely high quality but I am without a board for weeks! I'd happilly settle for an MBS or another brand board if my GI
board doesn't show up soon.
What good are quality products if you don't have them?!

Good for you.
I borrow a board from kiters at my local beach; they are super nice and are happy to share and coach me. I ordered a GI board nearly two months ago
and am without a board; I don't want to wait anymore and want a board soon. Not having a board is not good, it sux!

Two months, I agree that is ridiculous! Supply chain problems...you'd think they would have their s*&^t together in time for the holidays?? Not
going to be a good year for retailers and as a retailer I would not want the bad pr that is going to come from this!
But unfortunately not much you can do at this point...free t-shirt,,,no thanks, keep it!
Press the dealer --> distributor --->company for a direct shipment from the factory or your money back??
I feel for you..Good luck and let us know how it turns out!

WHAT BOARD DID YOU ORDER? Try waiting since last march, I've been waiting for production since the hand delivery of my proto. I have several board,
and am waiting for parts and fresh conflicts. If you've ordered a new bionic board. Than you are in line with the rest of us. I've gone through two
batches of skate trucked boards, THEY ARE SELLING fast than I can get them here. Gi is supposed to be filling bionic boards soon. The loyal ones
will get the good stuff. It obvious that you are mad, but I don't think this forum is a good place to bash GI. It sound like a business matter
between you and GI. Only two people engineer and oversee the builds in china. And we all know that chinese folk like their holidays.
Perhaps you could order a Prodigy. That'll get you going. With your bionic close behind..
I personally appreciate the care and time they are putting into these boards.

I am a kiter. I want to have fun. I am not a pro nor a dealer. Things I care about :
1. Having fun.
2. Flying my kites and riding a mountain board on the beach.
Things I don't care about :
- How a vendor runs their business.
I pay for a product and I should get what I paid for. Simple.

Yo, I'm trying to help you find a ship date!
Wow....another kiter that likes to have fun. so I guess you didn't answer any of my questions. It's one thing I've learned on this forum is that
'it's impossible to make everyone happy' But If you'll listen carefully this time. I will tell you that the Prodigy or AK 103 is the best board for
HAVIN FUN AND FLYING KITES AT THE BEACH. I guess someone has to be the PRO so that good gear gets tested and manufactured. the new stuff coming is
perfect, THE ONLY WAY GROUND INDUSTRIES WOULD HAVE IT. I personally am riding the prodigy, as it's all I have to ride right now. Its fun, light. cool
looking. Vegas hubs and pro binding!!!
YOU WILL GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR. if you want bionics, you'll have to wait. I've sent an email to GI, so that they may take a look at the post you have
posted.

Yes wow, pretty simple stuff.
They should've told people about their "supply chain" problems before customers were sending their orders in. I'd have never ordered the board if I
knew it'd take this long. It should've been written on their website, they didn't do that. I learn way afterwards that they can't deliver.
I am not asking them to make everyone happy, just me. They should disclose what they can and can't deliver on time before they take orders.

We are also an authorized dealer for GI gear. They have had some difficulty getting enough supply this year do to the release of a Disney movie about
off road boarding that basically cleaned out everyone's stock.
We do have full stock on the GI gear including all of the new Vegas Hubs. It has been a frustrating few months but GI is doing everything they can to
get their dealers back in stock.
