Next kite help!

Hi People

I've been flying now for a 3-4 months with a Beamer II 3.6m.

Looking for something with some lift and a bit weary of the Blade's aggression price so was thinking a Ozone Riot 7m.

I weigh in at about 14st (200lbs).

Good idea?

Can it be depowered?

Any help appreciated.

The Riot is an awesome kite, you should be very happy with it. Jumping from a 3.6 to a 7.0 may be a little much but shouldn't have to much of a hole in the range.

The Riot is not a true depowerable kite but like any fixed bridle foil you can add on an aftermarket system to give the kite some depower. This will still not match a true depowerable such as the Frenzy or Montana.

Hope that helps.

Consider a Crossfire , like the 5.0 or 6.3 m. They are lifty but as agressive nor expensive as a Blade.

The Blade went for silly money in the end and I've ended up with a 5m Riot
