2m powerkite big enough to get a pull?

I wanted to try powerkiting on a longboard (skateboard) at a flat parking lot. With average winds say 10mph, will I go around 8mph on my board with the 2m powerkite, or maybe even 3m? I just want something that will actually get me going back and forth on the parking lot.
I dont want too much speed, eating pavement at high speeds with a powerkite in hand sounds like some serious damage, so low speeds needed only.

A 2m will probably just jerk you a bit as the kite passes through the power zone. I suggest a 3m quadline foil for more constant pull.

Big kite little money

If your looking for a small kite to keep the price down, try kites like the Radsail and the Beamer. You will get a bigger more usable kite for your money.

Thier worth a look.
