Wheel-less Board

Me and a friend were messing about with an old blank skateboard deck and attached some foot straps to it, any chance that I could do something kite related with it? Quite smooth as we sanded it down, but not sure about grass boarding, he suggested I tried it in the early morning when the grass was wet.
Any ideas much appreciated!
Mike

No doubt you could surf the wet grass... sounds like fun. But you would not be able to steer off at more than a 20 degree angle from the wind - meaning you would be walking back after each run.

I'd suggest putting some off-road trucks and wheels on your board so that you can traverse the entire field at will - upwind, downwind, crosswind - lastly returning to your start point.

Cool, thanks, I'll try it on grass and then get the off roaders.
