Thanks for posting that vid....nice field...wish I had something like that close to home...doesn't appear to have hardly any obstructions...is the
wind usually pretty smooth?
Good job on the flights, sthrasher! That's eventually what I'd like to do...did you take to the air right away or was it a gradual process?

the guy in the tube was the guy filming Sthrasher coincidentally
....yeah the sod field is the best place in the central valley easily....usually the winds are very consistant...this particular day the wind was very
stron at times and yet it was a bit fluffy too...so it was actually a good day for jumping but for buggying I had to stay on the paved runway
section..with a 2m Legend...because the wind would just poop out and then sudddenly nuke...so the pavement was fine and very fun..it was a pretty good
day although the grass was soaked from the night before......
I should start a thread about sod farms....

Hey I just had a chance to see this here! Thanks Art for posting And to the crazy tubing camera guy. Sorry you had to go dilish. And lunchbox I knew when I first started kiting that I wanted to jump but yes it is
a gradual process. Look under kite jumping and other traction sports In the like father like son post the 2nd attchment that dilish posted. learning
is not easy nor is it pain free. Thanks again to all who made that day
possiable we need to do it again soon. Oh and don't try to jump in hip waiters landing are really slick. But they did keep me dry!

I know guys I am waiting for it also. But right now I have a little financial set back and cant do anything until it is over. No matter what the cost
so if I miss this batch again and I most likely wont just order another. I know you will.
