Final buggy pics

since there was a question about pipe fittings and a buggy I thought I might share pictures of mine..which is made of about 75% pipe fittings from home depot...they weren't too thrilled about me setting the whole thing up in the store...but I certainly got a lot of attention and of course millions of "great" suggestions and ideas from other customers...every body thought I was using the buggy to fly the kite. . this was my first welding project and it was super fun.......

this has a new seat and buggy-seat sack for keys, phone snacks etc.....

I am pretty happy with the way it turned out......

Well done Dan...quite ingenious, and I really loved the way you have used the materials available to you, to make quite a good looking buggy, the angles of the goose neck look good. How does it run? have you had any problems or surprises.

hey thanks carl...it rides pretty smoothly...although I think I may have to adjust the height or position of the foot pegs...I tend to get an occaisional foot cramp just at the wrong time, so I am thinking that I should put the pegs a bit lower...but then the side rails dig in to my hamstrings...not sure what to do now...but the buggy is very smooth on pavement....

Thanks for the compliments

DQ

I have ridden the famous Q-bug and it is a nice ride. the seat is so so comfy with lots of back support. I still get nervous about the foot pegs, I am afraid I will break my ankle if my foot gets lodged in there. Overall it is a very nice buggy.

I second the comfortable seat statement. I had a chance to sit in it this last weekend. It definately doubles as a lounge chair while waiting for the wind to blow
